MARY C. KASHER, age 73, of Oreland, died Feb. 11, 2010, at her residence. She had been in failing health since August 2009. Mary has lived in Oreland for 42 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Peterson Cuber. Mary graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School, class of 1954 and Bloomsburg University, class of 1958, with a degree in teaching. She was an Episcopalian. For 10 years, Mary had worked as a secretary at Mt. Saint Joseph Academy in Chestnut Hill. Surviving is her beloved husband of 51 years, James E. Kashner; her daughter Ann Pape and her husband, Don, of Willow Grove; her sons, James E. Kashner, Jr. of Willow Grove and John B. Kashner and his wife, Kathryn, of Oxford; her grandchildren Shawn, Cameron and Ellie and her sister, Cecilia Lahr and her husband, Gerald, of Easton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's Funeral Service on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road in Feasterville where the family will receive friends, Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
RICHARD V. KELLY, age 65, of Philadelphia and Surf City, N.J., died peacefully after a short illness on April 5, 2010. Loving son of the late Joseph J. and Margaret E. (nee Murphy). Beloved husband of the late Elisabeth (nee Mermando). Loving father of Richard (Erica), Brian (Francesca) and Gina; the late brother of James (Kathy), Joseph (Marilyn), Dorothy and Philip (Laura). He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Richard J. Roscioli III, Sophia and Isabella and many nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and Delaware Valley College. He taught at Archbishop Wood High School for 39 years and was Athletic Director there for many years. He coached football at Roman Catholic High School and Delaware Valley College. Friends and family are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, April 8, 2010, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The Mcilvaine Funeral Home, East Falls. ELIZABETH KELLY "Lizanne", November 24, 2009, beloved wife of the late Donald LeVine, dear mother of Chris (Vicki) and the late Grace, loving grandmother of Elizabeth Kelly, Christopher McNeil and Virginia Grey LeVine; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lizanne was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, Margaret "Peggy", Grace and Jack Kelly. CHARLES W. LEWIS, JR., died June 25, 2009, at Sacred Heart Home, Philadelphia, Pa. He was born June 13, 1930, in Philadelphia. “Lee” was the son of Charles W. Lewis, Sr., and Catherine E. Lewis, East Falls. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in 1947 and enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served four years at Fort Dix, N.J. He was a member of St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Charles is survived by his son, Glen and his daughter, Nancy. He will be remembered by his sister, Katherine Iscobocci, and two brothers, James W. Lewis and William D. Lewis. Funeral and cremation provided by McIlvaine Funeral Home in East Falls.
