MARY JANE RABONUK, October 5, 2010, of East Falls. Loving wife of the late Francis J. McCormick and the late Peter P. Rabchuck, Sr. Dear mother of Robert McCormick and step-mother of Peter P., Michael J. and Patricia S. Rabchuk. Also survived by a brother Edwin Devine. MICHAEL J. RAPONE, June 5, 2011, age 56 of East Falls and Fairmount, after a valiant battle with cancer. Devoted son of Mary A. (nee O'Connor) and the late Joseph A. Beloved brother of Anthony (Sally) and Kathleen. Loving uncle to Anthony (Diane), Christopher and Patrick. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mike was a proud alumni member of Roman Catholic High School's Class of 1972. He recently retired from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission after 25 years of dedicated service. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Wednesday, June 8th, 7-9 pm at McIlvaine Funeral Home, East Falls and 8:30-9:30 am on Thursday, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 am at St. Bridget Church. MAUREEN K. ROWLEY, October 17, 2011, at the age of 57, at home surrounded by friends and family. Survived by her partner of 32 years, The Honorable Patricia McInerney and their two daughters, Kate and Maura, also survived by two brothers and a sister; Joseph and Michael Rowley and The Honorable Felice Rowley Stack and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, friends and colleagues. MARY JANE RYAN (nee Connor), July 27, 2010, of Wayne, Pa. and Stone Harbor N.J. Loving wife of the late Matthew J. Ryan III. Dear mother of Clare Wydeven (Ted) and Carol Livingood (John). Proud grandmother of Grace, Emma and Lucy Wydeven and Nora and Mary Livingood; also survived by 2 sisters, Ann Marie Eissler and Sr. Francis Chiara, OMC (Margaret Rose Connor), a brother William Henry Connor and several nieces and nephews. JOSEPH F. ROONEY, October 1, 2011. Beloved husband of Nancy Henry (nee Boyle). Father of four daughters, brother of Marie Novaro (Jim), uncle of James, Gregory and Merri, cousin of Patti and John. Joe practiced as a chiropractor for 30 years in Wilmington, Delaware. He then earned a medical degree and did research and lectured on MRIs. He helped develop MRI centers in many southern states. He would see patients regardless of whether or not they could afford to pay. Joe enjoyed helping people get relief and feel better. He was a life-long believer in continuing education and he never stopped learning. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday, October 8, from 10-11 am at the McIlvaine Funeral Home, East Falls, followed by his funeral service at 11 am. Interment private.
